We have a Kia that burns oil, about a quart a week. we took it to the dealer and they denied this was common problem and offered for us to purchase an "overnight soak" where they put solvents in the engine in an attempt to dissolve built up internal material for $700. They claimed this process has solved 99% of oil burning problems. Not wanting to buy another engine just yet, we opted to pay for the overnight soak. It burned less oil for about two weeks and went right back to burning a quart a week. Done with Kia.

Doc fees are simply additional profit. I won’t pay them, and will not buy from a dealer that won’t remove them. I tell them up front before we begin the process. If they say they can’t remove them, I walk…… funny how quickly they come off……

Nope sorry. Kia gives a 7 year warranty or 200 000km. Who else trusts thier product that much? My Sportage diesel has 200 000km on and absolutely nothing broken. It gives 7 liters per 100km. (no idea what that is in old speak) Safe carefree and no problems.

Great informative video, but I take issue with your remarks about the C4. All of mine have been year-round daily drivers that have also seen travel across the country. That said, I'm sure that a C6 or C7 is probably in my future. The video did show me some features that I wasn't aware of in all the cars.

I don't know about other states, but in FL, you have 10 days to get your title and tags, and you have every right to drive off the lot with dealer tags and go to the DMV and get them yourself. That way, you can negotiate the processing fees down, because they don't have to do that work. Other videos will tell you not to pay doc fees at all, because that should be baked into the price of the car. I walked out on a car deal once because they promised to put in a new stereo and then when they gave me the new paperwork, they had charged me for it. Salesman chased me out to the parking lot crying that if I didn't pay it, it would come out of his pocket. I said "I don't care," and drove off.

Bro should look into G80/G82 Competition Xdrive. Basic Stage 2 with quality rims+tires will be a mid 9 second 1/4 mile car. Fully built will be low 8 seconds in a highly practical all season platform that offers unique performance versatility, build quality, interior, materials, technology, etc. Dig, Roll, Prep, No Prep, Backroads... The reliability of the S58 platforms matched with XDrive and a fantastic transmission, they are just a great platform to push. Perhaps a platform to consider for your next build. If the G80/G82 is a little outside of a budget, the G42XD with the Gen2_B58 are also fantastic platforms to fully build out. Ive owned a lot of performance cars, and built a few as well, and my 2022 G80CXD M3 is by far the greatest high performance daily driver I believe ever made. I love it so much I just ordered a fully optioned new G82CXD M4 with Carbon Buckets & Carbon Ceramic Brakes to fully build out as a first-in-class drag & show car. Super impressed with how far this platform has been pushed in such a short period. A lot of people will say "I can built a 8 second car for $40k", and yes you can turn a farm truck into a 8 second car these days, but what else does it offer, what other purpose does it serve. Nobody cares about a primer grey barn find f/fox body that can hit 8's... The knock on previous BMW's were interior quality & reliability... BMW certainly corrected those with these newer M cars. HIGHLY recommended if you ever want to diversify and get something different in your driveway. Ive been watching the development of performance shops with the new ERAY. I think if I were to build out a C8, that would be the platform Id personally choose. Im also hoping Chevy uses the ERAY AWD for the new ZR1. I know a lot of purist may not like that, but I believe youd get more performance versatility & practicality from it. Motor output for the ERAY is approx 32.3% of the engine output. If they slightly modified & tuned the C8 Z06 engine to output 700hp then matched the same 32.3% Motor output, that would be a total of approx 925HP in a AWD platform. That would be a wicked machine on the roads. Any rate, good luck with the build!

😂 ummm on an electric vehicle you're hardly ever going to change the brake pads due to regenerative braking. Other "Maintenance" change wiper blades, cabin filter, maybe every 100K a battery coolant flush and maybe those brake pads, tires about average, add wiper fluid. Like, that's it! That's all! EVs are insanely low in the maintenance department! Over the past 5-6 years I've owned 3 EV's, combined I've only spent maybe 500 bucks on them for maintenance!

The new Z06 is a great car but it is just way over priced for a Chevrolet...

Stop selling anything GM you will be much better off you worked for Chevy so maybe you are brainwashed but they make junk. Try to sell a lot of Toyota- Lexus used vehicles you will have a piece of mind and have very little problems!

Depends on the final price, you can still leave the doc fees in there but reduce the sales price to compensate on the doc fee charged to buyers.

Here in 2024 and some Chevy dealers are still charging an ADM - Added Market Adjusted Add +$4,995 - simply ridiculous! 😡
